Carl Froch: I'd like to be remembered as a warrior

Every great thing comes to an end, says Britain's four-time world super-middleweight champion Carl Froch.

Speaking to 5 live Breakfast after announcing his retirement from boxing Froch said, "I'm already missing it, I've been missing it for a year – there's no better feeling than standing in the stadium. I'll never get that high again - the natural high."

"I'm going to be in my 60s looking at kids in the super-middleweight division thinking, 'I could do him' but I've got to be realistic. I've got nothing left to prove and I'm bowing out on top."

"I'd like to be remembered as a warrior who would fight anybody and give the fans and the paying public what they want, and give them satisfaction.”
