High school pupils: What we've learned about radicalisation

Students at Carlton Bolling College in Bradford have spoken to BBC Radio 5 live about what they have learned about radicalisation.

In 2014 Ofsted inspectors put the secondary school in "special measures" and claimed not enough was being done to protect students from the possible risks of extremism.

They also found students did not have enough opportunities to understand how to recognise extremist views and did not know what to do if they heard those views expressed.

"We've had assemblies for radicalisation and all sorts", said one student. "We saw videos of the families and our teachers taught us on how they were getting groomed because they were young and had a fresh mind."
