Wimbledon 2day is a "great mass of mess"

The BBC's evening Wimbledon highlights programme work Wimbledon 2day has been criticised for taking a more informal and interactive approach to the traditional format.

The set and the new format simply don't work, said Alison Graham, TV Editor at the Radio Times.

"I turned on to the highlights on Monday to find Clare Balding looking really uncomfortable propping up what looked like a night club table," she said.

"It was just a great mass of mess."
