Closure of FM Broadcasts in Abu Dhabi

From Tuesday 30 June 2015, the BBC World Service will no longer be broadcast on 90.3 FM in Abu Dhabi. It has come as a shock to its audience who have relied on the service for 12 years. Simon Kendall, the head of business development for the World Service, explains why the decision has been taken and which alternative mediums are still available to listeners in Abu Dhabi.
