Interior Castle's Jo & Emma produce an engaging mix of harmonious guitar with picking and string slapping solos with a warm chime of vocals delivering careful, deliberate poetry of a pleasingly infectious quality.
These Australian and English ladies met in Canada in 2013 and fell in love with the sounds they created together.
They are playing a string of shows around the UK over the coming months ahead of releasing an album towards the end of the year and for this special show, they flew in their bassist from Canada to accompany them at Wychwood.

MappFest

Do you like having your birthday?
Some people don't - they hate the attention - while others love a day where you can get all your mates together, have some food and maybe listen to some music.
For Andy Mapp, from Malvern, he took his annual tradition one step further and from having load of bands play in his back garden to staging his own music festival - aptly named Mappfest!
For the last two years the event has been staged on Link Top Common where up to 5,000 people have turned up and this year it included a fly-past by the Red Arrows!

The BBC Introducing in Hereford & Worcester stage at the Wychwood Festival

For the fifth year running, BBC Introducing in Hereford & Worcester returned to the Cheltenham Racecourse to take over one of the stages at the annual Wychwood Festival.
Since 2010, various BBC Introducing shows that surround Gloucestershire have all been invited to choose the acts - and this year nine of our favourites graced the stages on the closing day of the event.
Throughout June, we'll be bringing you the highlights on BBC Hereford & Worcester with the extended sets being hosted on our website.

Hopfest

Bewdley is one of the real gems of Worcestershire, with a beautiful river front, streets bursting with character and for one weekend only - music and plenty of beer!
Hopfest is a relatively new festival celebrating young musicians.
Our reporter Nina Das Gupta has been in Bewdley speaking to people who dropped by for a pint and performance!

Tenbury Music Festival

You always remember your first - first kiss, your first job, your child's first step, but the people of Tenbury celebrated their first-ever music festival last weekend.
It took place on the Burgage field, which is the most natural theatre in the area as it's surrounded by the rivers Teme and Kyre.
The event was organised by an enthusiastic team of volunteers and with food, local ale, workshops and of course music from local bands in Tenbury.

Features

- In the news: Music tourism was worth more than £250m to the West Midlands' economy last year - and some news from the Upton Festival, this year, will only serve to maintain that figure.
- In the gig guide: We have the llneup details for Droitwich, Hagfest, Upton Jazz and West Fest.
Four Shires Festival

This year's Droitwich Spa Festival features a fantastic programme of local food and drink, music and arts events in the historic salt town.
It takes place in the town centre as well as in some of the local pubs, clubs and venues until July 5.

The BBC Hereford & Worcester stage at the Colwall Family Music Festival

For the first time ever, we're heading to the Colwall Family Music Festival to take over one of their stages - and, as always, we're hellbent on showcasing local talent!
On Sunday 26 July, we'll be showcasing four acts for broadcast throughout August - and this year they've decided any money raised at the event will be donated to the British Heart Foundation.
