17-year-old Liv (Olivia McLaughlin) is a solo artist from Evesham, currently studying at Leeds College of Music.
She's influenced by the whole house and soul music scene and listens to artists such as Amy Winehouse and Paloma Faith.
For this performance, she brought in the session musicians who helped her record her debut EP.

The Malvern Cube

A Malvern band have taken over the music programming of a local venue.
BabaJack, who've toured extensively throughout Europe, say they rarely play a gig in their home town and want to create an opportunity for local musicians and their fans.
Becky and Trevor, who are also married, will be staging a variety of nights at The Cube - including a headline performance from The Wonderstuff.

Gary Barlow in Hereford

He's had 15 UK number one singles, sold more than 50 million records and now a social media campaign has successfully brought Take That's Gary Barlow to Hereford.
The singer has surprised staff and patients at St Michael's Hospice after more than 500 people from the county shot a video asking him to visit.
We caught up with Jo Smith and Martha Sullivan, who started the #GetGaryToHereford social media campaign.

BBC Introducing in Hereford

Throughout May, all of our live sessions were performed in the studio - the Studio Theatre at The Courtyard in Hereford, that is!
As well as regular music nights in both there and the Main House, the centre is home to the Music Pool charity and hosts regular Jazz Cafe events in the bar area along with various open mic nights.
The glass-fronted building, on Edgar Street, officially opened in 1998 on the site of its predecessor and before that it used to be a swimming pool!

The show, called Guitar Star, hopes to discover the best guitarist in the country.
Helen Sanderson is a professional guitarist, tutor and director of the World Youth Guitar Festival and tells us what it's been like working on the early parts of the show.

How to make it in the music industry: The Boomtown Rats

We started off the year with a brand new series of 'How To Make It In The Music Industry' with Hereford's Sean Denny, who runs his own record label at Sony Records in London.
This week, we continue to talk you through the whole signing process with a case study that is right here on our doorstep.
Gary Roberts is the guitarist and founding member of the Boomtown Rats and lives in Bromyard.
It's taken us three years to persuade him to give away his secrets of how his band attracted the attention of managers, record labels and studio producers - and how they insisted the band retained full creative control of their music.

BBC Introducing at the Wychwood Festival

We're returning to the Wychwood Festival on Cheltenham Racecourse to host a regional BBC Introducing stage along with our colleagues from BBC Local Radio.
We've been given the whole of the Sunday to showcase ten acts from Herefordshire & Worcestershire - which include the four sessions that will transmit throughout June.
As always, we invited musicians who uploaded their tracks to bbc.co.uk/herefordandworcester/introducing.
