Ann and Jim’s Stories

Ann and Jim Tattersall now live in Brierfield near Burnley. They both remember VE Day.

Ann was a child in Blackpool and Jim was in Ightenhill.

Although they were living miles apart, they both recall being woken up in the night by the celebrations.
