Highlights from the Redditch Pub Debate
Duration: 02:31
Karen Lumley (Conservative)

Karen Lumley has been the MP for Redditch for the last 5 years. She says she wants to continue to get the economy back on track. She says she's proud that unemployment has fallen by over 60% in Redditch county during her time as MP - helped by a drop in youth unemployment and the creation of 3,000 new apprentice places.
Rebecca Blake (Labour)

Rebecca Blake says she wants safe services to remain at the Alexandra Hospital and says only a Labour government will give the Alex a fighting chance. She says she wants to see investment in more doctors, GPs and homecare workers. She also wants to reduce tuition fees and offer an apprenticeship to every school leaver who wants one.
Peter Jewell (UKIP)

Peter Jewell says his experience in business could really make a change in Redditch. He says the biggest issue in the town is the hospital - and that his experience in the health sector could help him do something about it. He says he also wants to make Redditch a leading town with a lot of employment, good education and good training opportunities.
Kevin White (Green)

Kevin White says he's standing for the common good and against austerity. He says he wants to renationalise the railways and stop further cuts to the NHS. He also wants to stand up for the planet and animals - two qualities which he feels are sorely lacking in Parliament.
Seth Colton (Independent)

Seth Colton says he's standing in this election because he's the same as you. He says he's tired of what we've had before. He says he believes in helping people, social equality, social care, social housing and giving people a chance.
