Leno impressed with Corden's US debut

James Corden made his first appearance as host of CBS' Late Late Show on Monday night.

There had been much muttering about why it wouldn't work because the audience wouldn't understand Mr Corden's accent or humour.

But Jay Leno, who hosted the Tonight show for 17 years, was impressed with the debut.
