AP McCoy explains his decision to retire

In an exclusive 5 live interview, the 19 time champion jockey AP McCoy has been explaining how he came to his decision to announce his retirement from racing.

McCoy has been speaking to our racing correspondent Cornelius Lysaght about how his time away from riding after suffering injuries following a fall at Worcester helped him come to the decision.

The 40 year old will end his career at the end of the current season.
