Villagers in session at the 6 Music Festival launch

Villagers will be among the acts taking to the stage at the 6 Music Festival, which takes place on Tyneside from Friday 20 to Sunday 22 February 2015.

The Irish band are back with a new album this year. They perform a track from it, alongside a classic from their last album, for Lauren Laverne at a special launch event for the Festival in Newcastle.
