Comedian Jon Richardson: OCD is not a 'quirk'

Comedian Jon Richardson says he realised he needed to do something about his obsessive compulsive tendencies when he was left "unable" to sit on his asymmetrical sofa.

The 8 Out of 10 Cats star said meeting people suffering with more severe OCD issues for a documentary showed him what a "serious" illness it could be.

He said "a lot of people" claimed to have the condition as a "quirk" of their personality, despite its serious nature.
