Bo Rumba is originally from Latvia - but relocated to Bewdley a decade ago after his parents bought a pub.
His first experience in music was playing in a jazz band and eventually turned to electronica.
This was his first ever gig - and his email back to us was: "Finally my mum's got a reason to be proud of me".
Well, she should be - because, along with his brother Rob, he tore up our stage at Lakefest with one of the best sets of the weekend!

The BBC Hereford & Worcester Musicians' Masterclass

- How do I get signed?
- Is there an easy way to land gigs in other areas?
- How do I build a fanbase?
- How do you write a number one song?
- What's the best way to sell your music?
This week, we hear from tour manager Tom Oliver, Martin Chambers of The Pretenders, Brian Marr of The Marr's Bar and Verden Allen of Mott The Hoople about getting gigs outside of your own area.

Frank Freeman's

A film is being made about the legendary Kidderminster music venue the Frank Freemans Dancing Club.
John Peel, Led Zepplin, Fleetwood Mac were regulars at the club back in its heyday, but the site of the former music venue is to be demolished soon.
Local media production company Leysfield House is now looking for people to contribute to a short documentary telling the story of the music venue.
To get involved, contact Tanya Field on 01905 28417.

- In the news, it's a mixed bill of health in the Wyre Forest; we'll be talking about the event that's hoping to attract thousands of visitors and another that could fade away without new volunteers.
- In the gig guide, we'll bring you the lineup for the Great Malvern Jazz Weekend.
Reviews

This week, Andy O'Hare bring his reviews from the Great Malvern Jazz Weekend.
Following the success of the first event held in Easter this year, they've decided to stage a second weekend of great modern and contemporary jazz around a variety of venues in the centre of Great Malvern.
He'll be talking about:
- Sam Mabbett and Dylan Cairns, The Drystones, Blackbeards Tea Party, Tom Lewis, Twelfth Day & Oysterband at Bromyard Folk Festival.
- Purple Shades, Stuart Woolfenden, Dutch Lewis, Josh Kemp & Appleby Kinsey at Snodfest near Pershore.
- Black Cat Bone, John Denton Band, BabaJack, The Players & Stripped Down Blues at 'Poor' Bob Jones' Blues Night at the Cellar Bar, Worcester.
- Glyn Adgie, Paul White, Tyler Massey, Connie Gordon, Kevin Holmes & Ray Haden at The Red Lion open mic night, Malvern.
Ledbury Community Brass Band

A specially commissioned march - written by a Herefordshire musician - will be performed to the general public for the first time on Remembrance Sunday at the Market House in Ledbury.
The town's Community Brass Band will be doing the honours on what will be a very poignant day with the World War I centenary commemorations at the forefront of peoples' minds this year.
To find out how you can get involved, message them through their website.

The BBC Hereford & Worcester stage at LakeFest

LakeFest is a relatively new music festival taking place on the Worcestershire border, near Evesham, at Bredon Hardwick.
Snap!, Fun Lovin' Criminals and The Lightning Seeds all played at this year's event.
BBC Hereford & Worcester had a stage at the festival for the three days, showcasing local talent from Herefordshire & Worcestershire.
