Director Emily Kempson has reimagined Marivaux’s playful tale of first love and fidelity, setting the action in a sci-fi world where four teenagers brought up in solitary confinement first encounter each other as part of a cruel experiment.

It is part of the Hibrow Hour Edinburgh Festival Fringe season. BBC Arts brings you the performance in full, recorded at Summerhall on Friday 8 August.
