Bach in Weimar
Donald Macleod charts the period from 1708 to 1717, which Bach spent working at the ducal court in Weimar as court organist and concertmaster – including the composer's eventful final years at the ducal court, when his manoeuvres to secure a new job landed him in Weimar's prison for a brief spell.
