Roma Music and the link it has to India

This week’s guest on Desi Nation was a Bengali-Jamaican-Geordie musician living in Manchester. Sash –wati Sengupta has grown up everywhere from Jamaica to Saudi Arabia and ended up in the UK. She co-runs Manchester's Balkan music night 'The Satellite State Disko'. She's particularly interested in Balkan Roma music and its cultural and historical link to India. In this interview she tell BBC Lancashire’s Raees Khan about the soul in Roma Music and its links to India.
