Desi Nation

Available for over a year

In the late 90's Hussnain Lahori decided to pursue a career in music, teaching himself how to play the guitar, keyboard and started singing a little. Born in Lahore, Pakistan, he moved to Rochdale, where he began studying and soon found himself taking part in competitions and open mic nights which allowed him to develop his musical passion. Fast forward a decade or so and with a few singles under his belt, including Harjaee and Jag Nalo Sohni Tu, he is now releasing his latest offering Tere Bajo. In this extract he talks about the roots of his devotional music on the Desi Nation programmes with presenter Raees Khan.
