With Nell & I

All the members of With Nell & I originate from Dartmoor and have been playing together in different line-ups for over 10 years.
Three of them; Nell, Jess and Harry, all attended primary school together!
Now based in Bristol, they recorded their acoustic EP - ‘Horse & Carriage’ - last year at the acclaimed Sawmills studios in Cornwall and are now planning an electric single release in the New Year.
This is a return visit to the show for Nell and the band - and they're keen to perform some festive songs live in the studio.
Sam Mayo And The Tuesday Syndicate

Hailing from Woolacombe, North Devon, the band explain how they came by their name:
"A cheeky pint in 'Jacks' on one drizzly Tuesday afternoon was a great idea that week, with no surf or anything else going on.
"It quickly became a weekly thing to drag ourselves down to the pub and entertain the bar staff for a few hours, jammin' covers and eventually writing our own material - starting with a song called '6:05' for the landlady, Laura, who wasn't having a great day.
"It started to sound alright, apparently, so we thought we might make a thing of it.
"Being around on the tuesday naturally became part of the title but 'The Tuesday Club" didn't seem to have quite the ring we were looking for.
"It took a few days before Ed (our drummer) was sat in the back of the car with the rest of us (Sam Mayo, Tim Waring and Olly Bolland), on the way to a show, suddenly screaming the word we'd all been lusting for, and thus, 'The Tuesday Syndicate' was born!"
Six Days

Six Days are siblings Ellie and Ollie Harris from Colyton, East Devon.
The duo, who've been on this show in the past, are currently in the throws of writing an album and have recently had some success in a national music competition.
They'll be telling us all about it when they join us to perform live.
North Devon Folk Choir

We'll be joined by North Devon Folk Choir to bring a festive feel to Saturday morning with some Christmas carols.
Paul Wilson from Wren Music currently runs the choir, and shares this role with Rosa Rebecka throughout the year.
Future plans for the choir include a joint concert with the Folk Orchestra of North Devon in the spring.
Moxham's Movies

BBC Radio Devon's resident film reviewer shares his opinion on some of the new releases at the region's cinemas.
This week Moxham's Movies throws the spotlight on Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues - Ron Burgundy (Will Ferrell), returns to the news desk - but will it make us laugh?
Find out when Paul joins the Saturday shenanigans after midday.
