People Who Should See Their GP Still Visit A&E Instead

A new system for keeping non-emergency cases out of Accident & Emergency Depts in Northamptonshire has started and has found nearly half the patients in A&E should have gone to see their GP.

The "GP triage" system is operating at Kettering General Hospital and Northampton General Hospital.
