100 years of stainless steel

It has been 100 years since Sheffield’s Harry Brearley discovered stainless steel in his workshop at Portland Works in the city.
To celebrate the anniversary Rony Robinson has visited the factory where it all began.
We are also marking the occasion with a special documentary, broadcasting on Tuesday, 13 August.
