The Chris Moyles ShowCambridge Caroloke - 22 Dec 2011

We went to Cambridge for some festive singing fun with some lucky Chris Moyles Show listeners.

  • Chris greets the crowd at the Junction in Cambridge in his Obi-Wan Kenobi outfit, naturally.
  • Dave levitated to Merry Xmas Everybody
  • Our first listeners, Tommo and Imps from Cambridge, performed I Predict A Riot
  • The pair really got into it...
  • Matt Fincham took to the keyboard once again and sang the Christmas classic Mistletoe & Wine
  • Radio 1's early DJ Dev sang Don't Go Breaking My Heart with his producer Sarah
  • Paul & Danny gave us their interpretation of Love Machine
  • In fine Yuletide attire, Aled did Glee - Don't Stop Believin'
  • Meanwhile Greg James sang Florence's You Got The Love, complete with the moves
  • Kimmy, Ruth, Harriet and Marion are proper students and they did Stop by the Spice Girls - they knew the dance off by heart too.
  • Did Tina (who lost her voice) and producer Freya manage to perform Teenage Dream to an even adequate standard?
  • Then it was time to be joined by our singing celebrity friend Stacey Solomon!
  • Stacey did her single Driving Home For Christmas...
  • ...and then she joined Chris for Fairytale of New York as our snow machine went into overdrive
  • Dom did his favourite I'm Gonna Be (500 Miles) with much aplomb
  • ...while Chris helped out on drums (because Basil the drummer needed a toilet break)
  • Fact - our Car Park Catchphrase contestants Warren from Liverpool and Joe from Billericay, Essex are real people who can...
  • Dave enjoyed some audience interaction as he performed Angels
  • And multinstrumentalist DJ Chris Moyles gives us some guitar action
  • Chris rocks out to All My Life by the Foos
  • It's nearly time to go - just time for a rendition of Do They Know It's Christmas
  • Thank you Cambridge - you were brilliant!
