Featuring their music and your memories of the Beatles visits to Oxfordshire, presented by Mark Watson

Back in October, we celebrated the 50th anniversary of the Beatles first single, and on Boxing day at noon, we’ll bring you the memories of the four occasions of When The Beatles Came To Oxfordshire. You’ll hear about their only gig in the county at the Carfax Assembly Rooms in 1963, the times they stopped off in Abingdon and Witney for lunch, the excitement they caused when they got off a train at Cholsey to come to Oxford, and the Oxfam fundraising dinner they went to at Brasenose College in 1964, and their trip over the road for a drink in Vincents club after. Hear the full story as told by the people who were there, of When The Beatles came to Oxfordshire, Boxing day at Mid-day, only on BBC Radio Oxford.
