Printing magazines

Polestar, one of Europe’s largest commercial printers, produce over 30,000 magazines per hour. Customers provide them with a digital page layout for a magazine and their job is to turn this into the finished product, ready for distribution and sale. Polestar use a gravure printing press with 4 printing units, one for each of the CMYK colours (cyan, magenta, yellow and key black).
