Designing fair heats for a dirt bike race

A look at how to arrange heats to give dirt bike riders an equal chance of qualifying for the main event. Heats depend on classification and will be required for different numbers of contestants. The rules and organisation of the heats are discussed. There are only 12 starting gates so this restricts numbers.
