Night glow corals
Corals are spectacular enough during the day. At night however, they have the amazing ability to fluoresce. No one is sure exactly why they do this - one theory is that it is part of their natural sunscreen protection processes. One thing's for certain: corals make the reef a spectacular sight both in the day and at night.
