Wildlife secret
Green herons are normally found in North and Central America. This individual was blown off course across the Atlantic, and attracted a lot of attention from garden visitors and bird watchers alike. The heron didn't have much luck when trying to eat a frog - the amphibian swelled up when it was caught, as a defence mechanism, preventing it from being swallowed.
