Long tailed-tit nests
Iolo Williams watches the construction of a long-tailed tit nest in woods near Newtown. The nests are well hidden and contain at least 1000 feathers in each one. If the nest is sited in a more exposed area, then it may contain even more feathers. Spider webs are also weaved into the sides to allow nests to expand as the chicks inside get bigger.
