BBC Radio 1Xtra's Hot 4 2011: Yasmin - On My Own (BBC Maida Vale)

A hip hop DJ and singer/songwriter, Yasmin was spotted by Pharell Williams during one of her DJ sets at the age of 21. She has already tasted mainstream success by appearing on the 2010 Devlin single "Runaway", and now Yasmin is preparing to drop her debut single “On My Own”, out in January. The Scottish songstress has toured with Will.i.Am, Eve, N*E*R*D and Taio Cruz and appeared at 2010's BBC Radio 1Xtra Live at Wembley Arena with Devlin, and the station were the first to playlist her single in November.
