Birdfare

Bill Oddie visits the annual British Birdwatching Fair, held in August at the Rutland Water nature reserve. He explains the basics of bird identification and behaviour, which helps him to identify a rare species, the tree sparrow. He also goes 'back in time' to find out how birdwatching began.
