Royal Highland Show - 1960s

As the Royal Highland Show celebrates its 50th year at Ingliston, we take a look back at how it has developed over the last half-century.

The first show at its current Edinburgh base was in 1960 and began with the arrival of a royal visitor who would become at regular at the showground.
