Daredevil ducklings

During the frenzy of summer activity on the river a brood of mallard ducklings encounters a weir for the first time, blissfully unaware of the danger. It's a ritual that takes place every year, almost a rite of passage. Though some teeter on the edge looking uncertain, others throw themselves into the game. It's all part of learning to navigate the river.
