Episode 10

Simon King has spent autumn in the thick of the red deer rut. Three months ago, the stags started shedding the velvet skin that protects their antlers. Then came the wallowing, the aggression, the roaring, and finally the fighting that sorted out the top stag from all the others. The changes are dramatic, but gradual, so this episode looks back at the the events of the past three months, as the stags transformed into fighting machines.
