Giant rat close up
A new species of giant woolly rat is discovered by a tracker out searching in the forest. Found only here in the forest of Mount Bosavi, Papua New Guinea, this species is a true rat, of the kind you would normally find in cities and streets around the world, but a lot bigger. This individual is relaxed around humans as it has had little or no contact with them before.
