Tea time
Elephants need a lot of living space. Indian elephants cross a tea plantation in Assam while tea pickers watch them. A hundred years ago this was all elephant habitat. As forests shrink, wild elephants are increasingly coming into contact with people and crops, which can cause conflict and sometimes deaths.
