About Nathan...
Nathan’s joined BBC Radio York from BBC Radio 5 live - where he read the news and presented the Morning Reports programme. He joined 5 live when the BBC moved to Salford in 2011.

He has been at the BBC since 1998 and for many years worked in the Midlands, presenting Drivetime and Saturday Breakfast at BBC Hereford and Worcester. In 2009 Nathan was part of the team that won the Sony Radio Academy Station of the Year award.

In 2005 he joined the BBC Local TV pilot in the West Midlands and won an International Video Journalism award for one of his films. Nathan has also been seen on TV screens across Yorkshire, working with Look North and Inside Out in Leeds and has presented programmes on BBC Radio Leeds too.

This is where he met the now Mrs Turvey, who is a producer there. They married in 2010 and now have two young children. Nathan is also been heard on BBC Radio Derby and BBC Radio Northampton.
