Weekend West

Ali Vowles is a familiar sight to viewers of BBC Points West, where she works as a presenter and reporter in her home town of Bath.
Her career with the BBC began in Bath where she worked in a community unit.
The airwaves beckoned and Ali joined BBC Radio Bristol as an early morning presenter.
Then came a move down south and into television as a BBC Regional News presenter and reporter for BBC Spotlight.
Now Ali's back in the West Country but she hasn't always worked in the media - one of her first jobs was as a trainee bus driver in Bath.
