Out of Breath: North Korea

North Korea has one of the world's highest rates of tuberculosis, a highly infectious disease. Though TB is treatable, many patients in North Korea suffer from the drug-resistant variety, which is difficult and expensive to cure. Filmmaker Hein S Seok has gained unique access to the work of a team of international volunteers as they battle to treat patients in tuberculosis centres in remote locations around the country.
