Gemma Cairney is on a journey to discover what happens when she brings together two artists from two different countries to combine their talents to make a new piece of music. In this episode, she travels with musician Kojey Radical to Accra in Ghana, a country he hasn't seen since he was 12 years old. Born and raised in East London 25-year-old Radical is a spoken word-poet and rapper, a dancer, model, illustrator and video artist. Kojey explores his own Ghanaian heritage and music with Kyekyeku, part of a new generation of young lively Ghanaian musicians combining the musical traditions of highlife and afrobeat and who chronicle contemporary Africa.
