Gemma Cairney is on a journey to discover what happens when she brings together two artists from two different countries to combine their talents to make a new piece of music. In this episode she's invited British folk musician and actor Johnny Flynn to Bogota to collaborate with Colombian accordion legend Carmelo Torres. Together they explore what makes the city tick and what comes from a day-long session in the recording studio bringing together Johnny's distinctive style with Carmelo's cumbia music tradition that dates back to the arrival of Europeans in South America.
