From the conflict in Ukraine to accusations of hacking and then sanctions, relations between Russia and the West have deteriorated dramatically under Vladimir Putin. In Russia itself, the change has been accompanied by a shift away from what are perceived as Western liberal values, with increased control over the media and political opposition suppressed. But all this has happened at a time when, on the surface, the country looks more Western than ever. With Vladimir Putin on course to be re-elected for a fourth term this month, our Moscow correspondent Sarah Rainsford has travelled through southern Russia, the Urals and Siberia to explore how deep Russia's rejection of the West now runs...
