Episode Two

The second episode of Innovators looks at water and sanitation. We start in Ladakh, the most Northern part of India where engineers are building man made glaciers so villages get fresh water in time for the Harvest. In Rajasthan we meet India's Water Mother who runs an organisation building local dams so communities do not run out of water in the hot months and in one of India's poorest provinces, Bihar, we meet the men building free toilets and paying for them using power generated by poo.
