The Manchester International festival has established itself as a world leader in arts festivals. Over a two week period in July some of the biggest names in international art, theatre and music descend on this northern English town and transform it. In this programme we highlight the best of the festival which aims to embrace and challenge the zeitgeist with great art and good humour.
