Children in America are undergoing electric shock treatment in growing numbers. Now known as Electro Convulsive Therapy - or ECT- the controversial treatment is being used on severely autistic children who are prone to violent self-harming behaviour. Earlier this year, BBC cameras were given access for the first time, to film a child being treated using ECT. Our World's Chris Rogers, travelled to America to find out why some familes have gone to such extreme measures. A warning that this programme shows children self-harming and undergoing ECT. Some viewers may find these images upsetting.
