China wants to be a "world football superpower" by 2050 and aims to develop a national team capable of winning the World Cup. That's the ambitious goal of President Xi Jin Ping. He has designed a massive national plan to try to make it happen. As well as backing the Chinese Super League, now buying up the best footballers from across the world, he wants 50 million Chinese people to be playing the game by 2020. He's ordered 6,000 pitches and stadiums to be built or renovated and he's setting up 50,000 football schools within 10 years. So will the plan work? Our Sports Correspondent Richard Conway has this special film from Beijing.
