Sania Mirza

Sania Mirza is one of India's most iconic sportspersons. In a country obsessed with cricket, she made tennis famous. Currently world number 1 in the women's doubles rankings and the first Indian to do so, she's also a very vocal champion for women's rights in the country. She has a huge fan following in India, but has also been targeted by critics for her gender, religion and even whom she chose to marry.
