Dervla Murphy's first and most well-known travel book Full Tilt documents a cycling trip she undertook in 1965 from Ireland to India. Still writing today, she has been described as a 'travel legend' and has written over 20 books documenting her travels around the world. She normally travels alone and with few luxuries but has for some trips taken along her family including the time when she took her then five year old daughter Rachel with her to India.
