Medair UK

Medair UK is a Christian humanitarian aid organisation that responds to conflict, disease and natural disasters. We provide life-saving healthcare, clean water and emergency shelter in some of the hardest-to-reach places, so that the world’s most vulnerable people can live with dignity and hope.

When conflict strikes, women and children suffer most

When conflict strikes, women and children suffer most
When war forces people from their homes, it is often women and children who suffer most. In places like Sudan, years of fighting have torn communities apart and destroyed health clinics. For some people there is simply no treatment at all.

Forced to flee: Amna

Forced to flee: Amna
Amna, her husband and three young children were forced to flee their home by violent conflict. Life was tough and they survived on any work her husband could find. But when her 1-year-old son developed severe acute malnutrition, she became scared.

How you can help

How you can help
Medair’s health and nutrition clinic in Khartoum State treated Amna’s son free of charge. That treatment saved his life. Last year, our clinics in Sudan helped treat 6,000 children for malnutrition. Your donation will help us to save more lives.
