Music, chat, and comedian Charlie Higson

Mark Radcliffe and Stuart Maconie present a feast of great music and chat for weekend breakfast.

Today, they are joined by comedian, actor and writer Charlie Higson, who shares his First, Last and Everything - that’s his first record, the most recent one he's enjoyed and the record that means everything to him. Known to many for his work writing and starring in hit BBC TV sketch-comedy series The Fast Show, Charlie is also the author of a series of books for young adults, including the Young Bond series, as well as adult crime thrillers. A lifelong James Bond fan, Charlie's latest work is a James Bond novel for adults. He tells Mark and Stuart more about it and shares some of his favourite music.

Also on the show, long-running feature The Chain, which gives listeners the chance to pick a track that links in some way to the last. The list now contains over 8,800 songs.
