Jamz is joined by the team behind Unearthed African Recordings Vol. 1: Afrobeat keyboardist and curator Dele Sosimi, schooled in Fela Kuti's Egypt 80, label founder Stephen Budd, and historian Ed Keazor. Three years in the making, the compilation unearths rare highlife, soukous, benga and Edo funk from the 60s to the 80s, much of it never before available beyond the original vinyl.
