The show is in Staffordshire, home of the world-renowned Potteries. Among the smoking kilns in the 19th century were cottages making figures that are still coveted by collectors today. Christina Trevanion meets a man with more than 1,200 Staffordshire figures, which he stores in a specially built room on the side of his house!

Meanwhile, two teams go hunting for antiques at Bingley Hall in the company of their experts, Izzie Balmer and Nick Hall. In the red jackets are married couple Agnes and Irfan, and in blue are colleagues Lorraine and Hannah. The blue team quickly dismiss a brightly coloured designer handbag, whilst on the red team cat fan Irfan picks up a ceramic Egyptian moggy. However, it’s missing its all-important silver or gold stopper – far from 'purrfect'!

In Derby, auctioneer James Lewis guides the teams’ items before they go under the hammer, and it all comes down to a battle of bonus buys!
